Ruby Lu's cousin, Flying Duck, has just moved to America from China. They will all stay with the Lu family until her parents find jobs. That's fine with Ruby since she's enjoying all the attention. Get to know these 2nd grade girls better as school ends and summer begins. Together, they adjust to the changes in the house, go to summer school, attempt swim lessons, and take in a new friend.
