Annabel Tippens finds a new home with her pet Gloria. Gloria, though a dog, talks and takes care of Annabel. They move in with an old lady who is kind but not a lover of kids and animals. Things are great until Belinda the cat shows up and starts causing trouble. Little by little Belinda begins to fill Annabel in on her secret past, which leaves Annabel worrying about a huge choice she has to make.
